💡 Things to Know Before Booking a Digital Perm ✅ Before Booking • Hair condition is very important. Digital perms may not be suitable for overly damaged, bleached, or very fine hair. Please let me know your hair history (e.g. bleaching, colouring, previous perms) in advance. • It takes time. A digital perm usually takes about 2.5 to 3.5 hours, so please allow enough time when booking your appointment. • Please wash your hair the day before, not on the same day. Washing on the same day can strip the scalp and hair of natural oils that help protect during the perm process. ✅ When Booking • Please share your current hair condition and the style you’re hoping for. For example: hair length, damage level, curl size preference, volume, etc. Reference photos are always helpful! • Check whether a haircut is included. Since the haircut shape affects the final result, a trim or haircut is usually done after the perm to shape the curls properly. ✅ On the Day & Aftercare • Avoid shampooing for at least 24 hours after the perm. This helps the curls set and last longer. • Proper home care is important. Use moisturising treatments, heat protectants, and try to gently scrunch the curls when drying for best results. • Regular trims and care are recommended. A digital perm can loosen over time, so it’s a good idea to get it refreshed or trimmed every 2–3 months.
